About Bhavya
I was born on August 10, 2003 and I have not seen my father since October, 2005. I was two years old then and could not speak “Papa” well; today I am 6 years old and understand the meaning and importance of a father in child’s life. I also go to school and recently took admission in class-1st in the year 2009. My father is fighting in court of law for my temporary and permanent custody on various grounds since August 2006.
I have heard that my father had tears in his eyes when he first took me in his hand outside Operation Theater. I have heard that both my parents use to dance (literally dance) to divert my attention when I use to cry in the nights, I was three months old then. I have seen both caring and doing all possible for me.
Several times, I and my mother have visited pappa's workplace and are thankful to love and affection of all uncles and aunties there.
I would have not suffered if there were no laws like 498a IPC as this section assumes all statement of women as true (without verification) and any body can be arrested (without investigation) if named in FIR (First Information Report). It is this dowry law only which has arrested more than 1, 25,000 women in last 4 years without investigation.
I would have not suffered this much if court uncle had understood my requirement that I equally need my father. I need both mamma and pappa, I love you-both.
It is this 498a IPC only because of which I am deprived of love and affection of my father, my grandmother, my grandfather, my uncle and aunties, my cousins and whole family of father side. Will court uncle give back, my time when, I needed my father most?
Today, I am incomplete without my father and my father is incomplete without me. I may be having everything today at my mothers place but not you pappa.
I miss you Pappa, I love you!
